The private onsen was super easy to use and perfect for a relaxing evening. Free parking on site was a nice perk, and we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast with delicious fresh fruit. Plenty of restaurants nearby made dining convenient.

Hotel as a whole is quiet and gorgeous, I appreciated it.
I would say it's fantastic base for staying and exploring Fujiyoshida. The rooms are a nice size and brand-new and the bathrooms are clean. Its location is exceptionally nice and perfect not far from restaurants, Fujikyu and a short drive the lake Kawaguchiko and great views of Mt. Fuji as well as a hike up Fujisan. Love eating outside and there's Araki Udon, set a couple of blocks away from the hotel. Would stay here again if I go back to Fujiyoshida...

The room we booked was huge on the balcony. The hotel was in the remote setting on how to take public transport. Moreover, it was just next door to Fuji-Q Highland and the amusement park and bus stations.

Consider bringing your own slippers, as the provided ones might be uncomfortable on the dirt floors of the cottage.

Private onsen experience was really enjoyable.
Getting to the hotel was challenging as it was off the beaten path, requiring a difficult 20-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. The provided slippers broke when I tried to wear them, leaving me barefoot which felt unacceptable. My room next to the staircase was consistently noisy, with gaps under the door allowing all hallway sounds to infiltrate.

This place is a real letdown, and I almost dared to give a good review, but then I remembered the tin walls that allowed every noise in, leaving us whispering. How about a little free water in the room for goodness sake. I woudl ve been happy with something, anything really, for the inconvenience.

The open-air bath and cozy garden area were perfect spots to unwind. Just a heads-up, it is a bit of a trek to get to the nearest bus stop, but totally worth it 😊

The shared onsen, especially when reserved privately. Conveniently located just a short walk to local attractions, the cottage boasted an appealing garden view. While the breakfast selection was limited, the quality was excellent, particularly the fresh fruits on offer. Options are scant, and the common areas felt a bit worn, needing attention for a cozy ambiance.

Had a blast with my friends! We loved the cozy atmosphere and the private onsen was a total highlight. Great spot for unwinding after visiting nearby attractions like the local market and the scenic trails. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and we appreciated the helpful staff recommendations.
Watch out for the tricky access to the hotel. It's a bit off the beaten path, so a taxi or car would.
